Kelso was called after a town in Scotland of the very same name, the hometown of one of its earliest inhabitants, James Logan.At its height, Kelso had a primary institution with three teachers, shops, saleyards, a church, resorts and also a town hall. The Kelso Dairy Factory is the last making it through building in Kelso. A memorial to the previous residents of Kelso.The old dairy products building stays in place and also is still vulnerable to flooding.
