AN EXPLOSION OF EVERGREEN HEDGES

The Marqueyssac Gardens are located in the small French town of Vézac on a high hill neglecting the Dordogn River valley. They provide one of the most spectacular sights of the Périgord.

The yards expand throughout a 22-hectare park, containing 4 miles of course flanked by over 150,000 centenarian box trees as well as evergreen trees, masterfully created according to the most strict policies of old topiary. The yards are created with innovative geometries of sinuous as well as rounded shapes all designed by hand– a common method of garden landscaping to produce a classy as well as imaginative activity.
